The Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees has just posted an agenda for a Special Meeting to be held Monday, July 19th at 6:00 PM, just three days from today. The meeting will be held at the SBISD Administration Building at 955 Campbell Road, Houston, TX 77024.
We encourage anyone who is available on this unusually short notice to attend the meeting and let the board know that you OPPOSE any change to our election procedures, and support a vigorous defense to this lawsuit.
Public comments at board meetings have a strong effect when it comes to swaying opinions of the Board of Trustees.
Speaking is very easy. Simply show up to the facility before the meeting starts and sign up to speak. The board will allow you four minutes to make your statements. You can use as much or as little time as you want. It is important that people actually show up and voice their opposition to the lawsuit. Trust us, it matters if folks show up, way more than you may think.
